Worth it!

I am really happy that I bought this. I really like the way that they separate the speech of Christ in this book - better than red letters, which I find irritating to read. I do wish they'd marked the words with a line in the margin or a colored dot or something rather than just separating it in its own paragraph. I went through with a highlighter and drew a line myself, and am happy with it.
Good quality, even the used book I bought has good binding still.

I think this book is great!

My only complaint is that it is not the Gospel per se and that whatever translation of the Bible that is being used is not King James and this is the wording I am used to reading the New Testament in.
Having said that I am finding reading a chapter of this book a day a great way of reflecting on the Gospel and a useful tool for dwelling on the life of Jesus. I really appreciate how Hinds has brought about all the parallel facts in the Gospel into one place; it has created and new and valuable experience in how I am approaching the Gospel.
This book in no way is a substitute for the Bible. I am using it as a supplement and one that I am greatly enjoying; I am finding it a great springboard for meditating on biblical themes.
From the reviews I can see that that this books isn't for everyone, but for the right person I think this is a five-star right book. Whatever sample that Amazon offers via Kindle may help you make up your mind.
