This is an excellent series of books. It requires dedicated studying to learn what is in this series, but it is extremely easy to read and well written. It originally sold at privately owned electronic retail stores in the sixties and seventies, for about $5.00 per book. I had three of them and currently still have "How AC & DC circuits work". I do not know what happened to my others at this time. My son and I learned a lot from the three I had and my son may have the other two, but to me, it seems this price may be a little steep if you are looking for information. If your buying antiques? well maybe. I would most definitely recommend this series if want to learn about first and second year electronics, and you can find it for something like, say,, fifty dollars. Any thing in the thousand dollar range, I would suggest your local community college instead.
